Dolce by Wyndham Versailles - Domaine du Montcel

I booked this hotel to stay on the weekend we were getting married, and informed the staff in advance. I was not disappointed: the team laid out a small bottle of (excellent) champagne in the room with a letter from the general manager wishing us the best on our wedding day, and we were upgraded to a beautiful room on the top floor, with views of the countryside and a lovely spacious layout. The room was comfortable and had good coffee available. We did not have time to stay for breakfast but we had a good night, and staff made us feel very welcome. The rooms and the entire space is spotless, brand new and tastefully decorated. To some it may appear a little prim or standardised, but I felt it provided enough sense of homeliness. It is also a very beautiful building out in the country, by a village yet quite close to Paris and a short drive from Versailles, so very good for tourism and sightseeing. There is a car park that's a little far in case of rain (5 min walk), but if you turn left on arrival, it leads you straight to the main building drop off (nice tree-lined drive). We did not get to try the spa and swimming facilities, nor the restaurant, but I'd definitely recommend the place as a hotel, it worked perfectly for us.

Spa was nice. Room was clean and super comfortable. Staff is super friendly and attentive.

Hotel is absolutely amazing, excellent service. My mother uses a wheelchair and the staff were so accommodating and nothing was ever an issue. The restaurant and food is incredible too

It's a beautiful location that feels secluded, but is just minutes from Versailles and on the outskirts of Paris. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful.
